4 Things that destroy your COMPUTER slowly.

Computers make our life easier but can we say we also do same? It turns out some small insignificant things we do like keeping the battery in or forgetting to unplug your headphone can slowly kill your electronic companion. Don’t worry, I will fill you in on some common mistakes we do in an attempt to care for our PC.

Connecting the laptop to a power outlet the wrong way.
If you are like me, you probably think it doesn’t really matter which end of the charger gets plugged in first. It turns out we are wrong. Never plug it to an outlet first without connecting something to the other end. If you do this, the power supply can easily burn out or worst-case scenario, you can kill the motherboard. Some of us may have damaged our motherboard due to this simple mistake. Always connect the charger to the laptop then the plug to the outlet, only then can you turn on your laptop.

Being impatient after you turn on or restart your machine.
After it shows you the “Welcome” message, your PC still needs time to boot properly. Impatience gives your computer too much pressure it can’t handle causing the operating system to freeze and the distortion of data. If it still works slow after some times check the startup programs and sort them.

Restricting access to fresh air.
Computers need fresh air just as humans do. Heat is your laptop’s worst enemy so keep your gadget cool on a flat firm surface. If the air vent is located underneath your laptop, just a flat surface won’t be enough for support. Get yourself an additional cooling system. This way you will extend the life span of your laptop.

Keeping too many gadgets plugged in.
Whenever it’s possible, turn off the sound, Bluetooth and WiFi if you are working offline. It seems like something insignificant but actually helps your laptop’s battery performance. Another thing that can help is disconnecting the wireless mouse, flash drives, headphones and external hard drives. All of them consume energy even when turned off.
